New Photo Gallery Category

We've added a new category to our photo gallery under  the Berea Field section called "Young Pilots".  This section features young pilots at the Berea Field.  Members, be sure to check through your photos for any additions you may have for this new section.

The NCCL website was officially launched December 6th, 2005.  We have quite a ways to go and look to all our members for pertain and useful information to appear on our site.

In the Information Center you will find the following topics or sections:

 

SAFETY TIP:  The Two Stooges - There are but two type of stooges, mechanical and biological.  For this discussion, the biological stooge will be referred to as the pit crew.  The pit crew should be familiar with the methods used by the pilot while fueling, starting and inverting the plane (while on the ground), if that technique is used.  Mechanical stooges are used when a pilot cannot locate the pit crew (check Burger King) or wishes to fly alone.  Several commercial stooges are available, as are plans for home made versions.  - Dave Evar (Safety Officer)
