Over a lifetime I've built and acquired about four Smoothies. This one here was acquired in an estate sale. Turns out that it was built and finished by fellow NCCL club member, Les Nering. Superb job Les!
This Smoothie has a 40th Anniversary Edition FOX .35 engine. It was built amazingly light. Superb construction techniques.
Though it's starting to show its age, it's perfectly flyable and still looks better than anything I can build! |
